Mr H complained that Ceredigion County Council had failed to respond to a complaint he raised regarding its Highways Department in November2022.

The Ombudsman found that the Council issued a Stage 1 and 2response which led Mr H to raise additional concerns in January 2023. The Council has failed to respond to the additional concerns.

The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation and sought and gained the Council’s agreement to apologise to Mr H and discuss with him his outstanding concerns within two weeks. The Council will then formally address those concerns in writing.
