Conclusion (the committee's words)
Nevertheless, the limitations of GWP100 must be taken seriously. As emission reduction measures may become ever more targeted at the level of individual sectors and businesses, precise understanding of their impact will be crucial. We welcomed the previous Government’s openness to considering additional metrics where appropriate, and we encourage the new Government to take a similar approach.
