Conclusion (the committee's words)
It is unacceptable that, despite the prevalence of obesity and its impact on all areas of health and wellbeing, training specifically on obesity is so limited. Healthcare professionals need to be supported to gain a modern understanding of obesity, provide sensitive and stigma-free care and be able to provide expertise and treatment options to patients. (Conclusion, Paragraph 76)
