The Ombudsman received a complaint that a Member (“the Member”) of Conwy County Borough Council (“the Council”) had breached the Code of Conduct when they published anti-semitic information on social media and demonstrated support for a proscribed terrorist organisation.

The Ombudsman found that the substance of the allegation was criminal in nature.  It was decided that the investigation should be discontinued, pending any referral that may be made to the Police.
