Ms A complained that Taff Housing Association had not taken appropriate steps to prevent smoke ingress into her home.

The Ombudsman recognised that Ms A had continued to report smoke ingress despite the action taken by the Association.

The Ombudsman sought and gained the Association’s agreement to within 8 weeks, undertaken a survey of the agreed areas and within 2 weeks of this, provide Ms A with the findings, and arrange further works if required.
