Full decision

Ms X complained that the Council did not respond to her complaint about her current housing situation, which she says is not suitable for her and her daughter’s needs.

The Ombudsman contacted the Council, and it agreed to provide a response to Ms X’s complaint within 2 weeks of the Ombudsman’s decision.

The Ombudsman considered this to be a sufficient resolution as an alternative to investigating the complaint.
