Full decision

Mrs A complained about the care provided to her late father at the Princess of Wales Hospital, in late 2020. She complained to Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (“the Health Board”) about that care and was provided with a written response in April 2021. Mrs A intended to meet with Health Board staff to discuss her concerns but decided to complain to this office because of the delay she experienced in arranging such a meeting.

The Health Board confirmed that a meeting had been arranged for the end of November 2021. The Ombudsman determined that the meeting would resolve the complaint to this office for the time being.
