Mrs X complained that Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (“the Health Board”) failed to provide her late husband, Mr X, with appropriate care and treatment and failed to communicate appropriately with her.

The Ombudsman noted that the Health Board had not investigated Mrs X’s concerns about the care and treatment Mr X had received.

The Health Board therefore agreed to the following: a) Within 20 working days, invite Mrs X a further opportunity to submit her concerns about the care and treatment her late husband, Mr X, received.
