It is recommended that the instructions to ambulance crews to take all casualties to the Garrick Hospital be reconsidered and that consideration be given to establishing a protocol dealing with the circumstances in which a patient should be taken direct to a hospital other than the Garrick.
Under section 28 of the 2016 Act, each recipient of a recommendation must respond within 8 weeks.
