University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) is one of the largest and busiest NHS trusts in England, providing hospital and community services for approximately 1.1 million people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The Trust operates three main hospital sites: Leicester Royal Infirmary (LRI), Glenfield Hospital and Leicester General Hospital, alongside several community-based locations. LRI also functions as a designated Trauma Unit, supporting the regional trauma network.
