We observed the door was left open throughout the day, which provided opportunities for unauthorised access to this room and meant chemotherapy medicines were not secure. ⚠ Of three patient toilets, we found one did not have a call bell to summon help in an emergency. This meant that should a patient become unwell in this area their safety could be compromised as they would be unable to summon staff assistance.
