Recommendation
Given the EU’s size and its geographical proximity to the UK, any change in the EU’s approach to foreign and security policy will be bound to have implications for UK national security. The Government should therefore continue to monitor closely the evolution of the EU’s external policies when considering British foreign and security policy.
