Despite this, witnesses have repeatedly told us that they believe more can be done. 176 Over the course of this inquiry, we have been impressed at the capabilities, ambition, and drive of the built environment sector, and we believe that if given the correct signals, they are capable of realising and delivering the Government’s vision of exemplary new settlements.
