Recommendation
National infrastructure projects, including new towns, will benefit more from overall confidence that the Government is fully committed to seeing rapid completion, given that the materials sector is demand-led. Therefore, the Government should add information on new towns to NISTA’s pipeline, so that the sector has access to accurate demand forecasting and can make capital investment in the natural extraction and manufacturing of materials accordingly.
