The Department’s goal is not just to stimulate the domestic market, but also to help UK industry benefit from the expanding international market for defence equipment. The Department has established an export team designed to ensure that it buys equipment which is not just suitable for the UK’s Armed Forces, but also for our NATO allies and other markets.
