Conclusion (the committee's words)
The MOD should write to the Committee within six months to explain how it arrived at this £20 million figure, and how it is commensurate with the size, importance and potential of Scotland’s defence sector. It should also explain how allocating such a limited share of funding will support the expansion of skills provision to the extent necessary to address persistent shortages across Scotland’s defence industry. (Recommendation, Paragraph 69)
