Recommendation 16

16 Paragraph: 61

The Home Office’s recent provision of SIM cards to asylum seekers in larger IA facilities...

Conclusion
The Home Office’s recent provision of SIM cards to asylum seekers in larger IA facilities is welcome. However, we are concerned that the denial of provision to individuals who do not have personal phones, or who are currently being asked to leave their accommodation in order to access free Wi-Fi in their local area, increases their vulnerability.
