Conclusion (the committee's words)
The Cabinet Office’s decision to disregard the Chair’s request to reappoint experienced non-executive directors significantly weakened the UKSA Board at a crucial time. It is the responsibility of the Cabinet Office to ensure an UKSA Board that is equipped to perform its role, not least by ensuring that it has a full complement of appointments and proper and timely succession planning to maintain capability as its membership evolves.
