Conclusion (the committee's words)
An obesity modern service framework should support more patients to access the Type 2 Diabetes Path to Remission programme by setting targets for how many patients should be enrolled and expectations around GP referral to the programme. This will need to be supported by funding for additional places. (Recommendation, Paragraph 30)
