Conclusion (the committee's words)
We are concerned that the merger of the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England could result in the loss of programmes currently commissioned by NHS England. Reassurance about future commissioning arrangements for such programmes is needed, which could be provided through a modern service framework. (Conclusion, Paragraph 20)
