Dr C complained about the care and treatment provided to his wife, Dr E. Specifically, Dr C was concerned about whether appropriate cardiological tests were carried out when Dr E attended hospital in July 2023.

The investigation found that appropriate levels of care were delivered to Dr E. When Dr E attended hospital she was thoroughly assessed and the view of a cardiologist was sought regarding her treatment.

The Ombudsman did not uphold this complaint.
