Mr A complained that the Council failed to properly address his complaint that vehicles were accessing his neighbour’s property along a footpath passing house.

The Ombudsman found that the Council had not addressed Mr A’s complaint properly nor reasonably. She said that this amounted to maladministration and was an injustice to Mr A.

To resolve Mr A’s complaint, the Council agreed to apologise to Mr A and to address his complaint properly. It agreed to do this within 2 months.
