Ms A said that the referral was because she had her teeth removed due to chemotherapy. Ms A said that she was housebound due to the impact that having no teeth had on her mental health.

The Ombudsman contacted the Health Board and decided to settle the complaint without investigation.

The Health Board agreed to contact Ms A within 10 working days to establish her dental needs and if she required priority treatment.
