Mr A complained about the care provided to his late wife atWrexham Maelor Hospital shortly before her sad death in May 2021. Whilst Mr Ahad received a formal complaint response from the Health Board in respect ofhis concerns about his late wife’s care, he indicated to the Ombudsman’s officethat he had additional unaddressed questions which he wanted the Health Boardto respond to regarding Mrs A’s care.

In order to resolveMr A’s complaint, the Health Board agreed to respond to his additional questionsregarding his late wife’s care within 3 months.
