Full decision

Miss X complained about her husband’s care and treatment on admission and discharge from hospital. She also complained that there are several unanswered questions that she would like answers to.

The Ombudsman decided that the Health Board should provide Miss X with a further written response (within 3 weeks) to address her outstanding concerns.

The Ombudsman considered this to be an appropriate resolution to the complaint instead of conducting an investigation.
