Ms X complained about the contractor’s use of a single track lane undergoing works/development on behalf of the Council.
While considering this complaint the Ombudsman noted that Ms X raised a formal complaint with the Council on 10 August 2021 but had not received a Step 1 response. The Council has therefore agreed to escalate the complaint to Step 2 and issue a full Step 2 complaint response no later than 23 December.
