Miss C complains that she did not receive the appropriate care and treatment from the Trust in February 2025.
Our decision
1. We thank Miss C for bringing her complaint to us. We are sorry and incredibly saddened to have read about what happened. We extend our condolences to Miss C and her family on her loss. We understand how important this complaint is to them.
2. We have decided not to consider Miss C’s complaint any further, as she is currently pursuing legal action. We explain the reasons for our decision below.
3. Miss C complains that she did not receive the appropriate care and treatment from North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust on 16 February 2025.
4. Very Sadly Miss C’s twin babies died on 16 February. Miss C believes with the appropriate care and treatment their deaths could have been prevented. This has caused a great deal of distress for Miss C and her family.
5. To resolve her complaint, Miss C would like to the Trust to apologise for its failings and provide a financial remedy.
