Mrs X complained about the Council’s failure to meet statutory timescales during the Education, Health and Care needs assessment process for her son. We find the Council was at fault for failing to meet statutory deadlines during the assessment. This caused Mrs X frustration and uncertainty. The Council has made a suitable offer to remedy Mrs X’s injustice. We do not recommend anything further.
