Publisher summary

Miss D says the Council failed to process her homelessness and housing register applications and did not make reasonable adjustments for her disability. I have found the Council at fault. There were substantial delays in how it progressed the applications and it failed to make reasonable adjustments for Miss D for eight months. The Council has agreed to pay Miss D redress. It will also make her a direct offer of housing and is updating its procedures for housing register applications and reasonable adjustments.
