There was fault in the way the Council communicated its home to school transport policy for September 2025 school admissions. There was also fault in how it considered Mr X’s appeal for home to school transport. These faults have caused Mr X frustration and uncertainty over the transport appeal committee’s decision. The Council has agreed to apologise to Mr X and offer him a fresh stage two appeal hearing.
