Mrs F complained the Council delayed issuing an education, health and care plan and failed to secure a suitable education for her son. We found fault which caused uncertainty and distress and for Mrs F’s son to miss out on education for one and a half terms. The Council has agreed to apologise, make a symbolic payment and a service improvement.
