Mrs X complained the Council failed to secure suitable education for Y while he was out of school and delayed completing a reassessment of his Education, Health and Care needs. The Council was at fault for delay in agreeing to a reassessment and for not securing suitable education, causing frustration and meaning Y missed out on education he was entitled to. The Council has agreed to apologise and make payment to recognise the injustice caused.
