We found fault with the Council failing to ensure Mr X’s child received their full Education, Health and Care Plan provision from February 2025 until the end of 2025. We also found fault with the Council delaying confirming the outcome of its safeguarding enquiries with Mr X. The Council agreed to apologise to Mr X and pay him a symbolic payment of £750 for the injustice caused.
