We found fault with the Council delaying putting in place Mrs X’s child’s Education, Health and Care Plan provision by varying time periods with up to one-year delays. This fault by the Council caused Mrs X’s child to miss formal education and support provision from their Education, Health and Care Plan. The Council agreed to apologise to Mrs X and pay her £3,200 for the missed education and provision.
