Recommendations

If other tragedies are to be avoided society must change its attitude to the consumption of alcohol to excess.

Education about the harmful effects of alcohol and the unacceptability of persons in a state of intoxication must be a continuing process.

Consideration may need to be given to delivering the information contained in the Servewise course more frequently.
