Recommendations
Although it is outside the scope of Section 6(1) of the 1976 Act, I recommend that: Consideration should be given to the inclusion in the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR) of dangerous occurrences, where there is no actual injury but there is a high risk of serious injury or fatality.
Under section 28 of the 2016 Act, each recipient of a recommendation must respond within 8 weeks.
