Section 6(1)(e)(v) The Sea Fish Industry Authority should review the training courses run for fishermen in particular in relation to health and safety risk assessments of fishing in particular conditions and the consideration of the effects of adding ballast to their vessels. The review should consider the requirement for compulsory attendance and re-attendance at such courses.
Under section 28 of the 2016 Act, each recipient of a recommendation must respond within 8 weeks.
