Date of assessment: 13 August to 18 December 2024. Torbay and South Devon Foundation Trust provides a range of NHS hospital services. This assessment looked at children and young peoples inpatient services at Torbay Hospital because we received concerns about the care and treatment of young people with mental health needs being cared for in an unsuitable setting, which we rated as good overall.
