Conclusion
Over the course of our inquiry, we were told about a range of best practices in the delivery of probation services across England and Wales. In this chapter, we consider how they could be scaled up. We look at the experience of the youth justice system, at lessons learnt from areas where probation services are delivered by local agencies working together, and at the relationship between the Probation Service and its commissioned partners.
