Recommendation (the committee's words)
It is imperative that the UK Government continues to pay close attention to the development of the Sino-Russian relationship, both in the context of the Ukraine war and beyond. In addition to developing distinct strategies for Russia and China, the Government should develop a comprehensive strategy that takes account of the potential for a deepening Sino-Russian relationship, particularly in critical areas for UK security, such as the Arctic.
