Recommendation
Given the deteriorating global threat environment, the Government cannot afford to delay setting defence priorities and articulating how much money will be available to UK Defence. The Government should ensure that the Review is completed to schedule, and implement its findings promptly. We call on the Government to keep the Committee updated on the Review’s progress and subsequent implementation.
