Conclusion
The UK Government will not be able to confront the threat posed by cyber- attacks without an accurate understanding of the scale of the problem. Currently large British companies are not required to report cyber-attacks. This is detrimental to national economic security. A full picture of these incidents is essential to not only the Government, but also to industry, helping both to better understand evolving threats and mitigations. (Conclusion, Paragraph 158)
