As set out in the Trade Strategy, HM Government reaffirms our commitment to provide a debate on any new trade deal during the statutory scrutiny period ending (where Parliamentary time allows). Despite a busy Parliamentary session, we were delighted that both Houses had the opportunity to debate the UK-India FTA during the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act scrutiny period.
