Government Response
Acknowledged
HM Government
Acknowledged
The mobility provisions within CETA apply to short-term service supply and do not permit entry into the UK’s labour market on a long-term basis. Consequently, they are not expected to have a material impact on long term employment rates, labour conditions or net migration. As set out in Section 10 of the impact assessment, the Department for Business and Trade intends to monitor and evaluate the agreement.
