The CMA agrees that both transparency and accountability are important principles to ensure that cooperation between digital regulators is effective and delivers results for consumers, businesses and the economy. Since the CMA’s last appearance in front of the BEIS Select Committee and the Lords Select Committee on Communications and Digital, the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum has published a formal terms of reference, its new workplan for 2022/23, accompanied by an annual report, and recently a call for input for its 2023/24 workplan. The CMA welcomes any opportunities for further engagement to demonstrate the progress and continued value of the DRCF’s work, including appearing in front of the BEIS Select Committee. 18 Post pandemic economic growth: State aid and post-Brexit competition policy: Government Response
