Conclusion (the committee's words)
The Independent Monitoring Authority, as required by the Withdrawal Agreement, plays an important role in monitoring the operation of the UK’s EU Settlement Scheme and the protection of EU citizens’ rights. It is therefore essential that it makes a strong and concerted effort to make those citizens aware of its existence and its role to support them to exercise their rights under the Scheme.
