Conclusion
We welcome recent announcements on new investment in the UK’s car manufacturing industry. This is positive news for British jobs as well as for the environment. Strong domestic strategies on electric vehicle and battery production will be essential to support further UK EV production and the circular economy. We welcome the recent publication of the Government’s Advanced Manufacturing Plan and Battery Strategy.
