Recommendation (the committee's words)
The Government should look to international comparisons, and consider developing similar enhanced measurement, monitoring, reporting and verification (MMRV) regulations. In so doing, it must take detailed account of any costs and benefits. A comprehensive MMRV framework that meets these standards may be required to avoid extra costs and/or process in exporting oil and gas to the EU as of 2027.
