In order to effectively capitalise on the opportunity that new towns can provide, Mr Hopkins urged delivery vehicles to ensure that there are sufficient training facilities available in the early stages of development. 116 Ms Egan argued that delivery bodies should look to engage with further education providers in order to integrate teaching into development. 117 Through the integration of early development with training opportunities, the delivery vehicles can ensure the incoming workforce is well equipped to deliver the needs of the emerging settlements.
