Beyond tracking supply and demand, we heard that a national strategy could create greater resilience in supply chains, by giving confidence to domestic suppliers that infrastructure will be consented and constructed. 48 The Government should communicate the large national infrastructure projects that they will be committing to, so that the building materials sector can estimate demand and invest in extraction and manufacturing capital accordingly. The National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority (NISTA) Infrastructure Pipeline is easily accessible online and is an appropriate vehicle for sharing this information. 49
